Hello! I was born and raised in Indiana and studied journalism at Indiana University before moving to Washington, D.C. to earn my master’s degree in film and media production. Since then, I’ve been working in media production at Long Story Short Media, gaining hands-on experience in both creative and client-facing roles. I'm excited to continue growing in this field and look forward to connecting with others in the industry!

Hello, my name is Georgia Jenkins. I'm a filmmaker and Howard University student living in Washington, D.C. Right now I work mostly on independent short films and documentaries for nonprofits, small production hubs, friends, fellow students, and anyone else who contracts me. I also work as an editor for all kinds of film and video projects. My strongsuits are directing/ assistant directing, editing, cinematography, and producing. I'd like to get more experience with screenwriting and working as a production assistant on larger-scale projects. 

I ran a marketing company for over 7 years helping businesses find their voice and share their mission around the world through social media. I decided to take all my experience, storytelling, and production skills to the film industry to help bring more awareness on humanitarian issues I care deeply about. Now I am looking to share my scripts and work with others as I produce these stories into films. I look forward to meeting amazing people with a mission to make a peaceful difference in this world.

I recently earned a post-graduate certification in Screenwriting from Georgetown University and currently in the process of drafting my first feature film screenplay. I'm interested in further development of my writing skills and gaining more hands-on experience in film production overall.
