I’m a previous member looking to continue connecting with the film community in the DMV area, build lasting relationships with film professionals, and make some friends along the way.

Currently, I’m in a phase of seeking work with video production companies in DC, but my main goal is that I seek to work on feature films. Outside of video work, I have personal projects in progress. In addition to setting up my own portfolio and a small in-house recording space for audio books, I’m working on a feature script in its early phases with a writer and looking for others. I have not yet completed a project that has satisfied my thirst to tell stories. I seek to reach audiences that have suffering or are disenfranchised in some way - those who have been victims of abuse or broken ...

As a Seattle native, I've found myself working across the country at a variety of news organizations before landing at NASA in 2019. I am a multimedia storyteller with 7 years of work experience and an educational background in photojournalism. Currently, I work as a video producer and editor at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center where I take complex scientific concepts and make them accessible to the public through the videos I produce. In addition to my regular responsibilities in this position, I'm working to advance my skills in live television directing and advanced cinematography.

I workin video and podcast production for a scientific professional association. Mypassions are for storytelling, and for integrating science and the humanities,which led me to pursue education and career opportunities in film and media aswell as Science & Technology Studies (STS). I’m hoping to return to somepersonal film projects this year on the side as well, including a shortdocumentary project and some writing.
