I am a video editor, producer, and documentary filmmaker based in Richmond, VA. I received my MFA in Documentary Filmmaking from Wake Forest in 2014, but will always be a Hokie at heart (class of 2010!).Over the years I've worked as an editor, post supervisor, production manager, and photographer both independently and for media companies such as Humanstory Films and Meridian Hill Pictures. With a passion for film production and post-production, I have worked as a PA, grip, DIT, assistant editor, and editor on a variety of projects, including corporate, non-profit, and short films. My independent filmmaking work explores themes of identity, language, and estrangement. My short films have screened at festivals and exhibitions both in the US and internationally. My latest short, One-Tenth, is currently in post-production.

After working for the AFI-DOCS festival and BBC, I spent many years of my career as a producer and editor at National Geographic. I made short films highighting the work of the Society's explorers and championed the organization's first-ever digital series. Since founding Nora Rappaport Productions, I've made content for Conservation International, The Nature Conservancy, Lonely Planet, USA Today, TED, Pew Charitable Trusts, and many more.

Hello, my name is Georgia Jenkins. I'm a filmmaker and Howard University student living in Washington, D.C. Right now I work mostly on independent short films and documentaries for nonprofits, small production hubs, friends, fellow students, and anyone else who contracts me.
